3.3 Deposits and Payment
- A deposit may be required to secure a vehicle
- Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing
- Full payment must be received before collection
- Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer, debit card, finance (subject to approval)
- Vehicles remain the property of Hurst Cars until payment is received in full
3.4 Vehicle Collection and Delivery
- Collection must be arranged within 7 days of full payment
- Delivery can be arranged at additional cost (quote provided)
- Insurance is the buyer's responsibility from point of collection/delivery
- All documentation (V5C, service records) will be provided at handover
3.5 Warranty
Unless explicitly stated:
- Vehicles are sold as seen with no warranty
- Optional warranties may be available (details provided at sale)
- Statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply
4. Servicing and Repairs
4.1 Service Bookings
- All bookings must be confirmed via phone or email
- We require 48 hours' notice for cancellations
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a fee
4.2 Estimates and Pricing
- Estimates are provided in good faith but are not binding quotes
- Additional work discovered during servicing will be communicated before proceeding
- Prices include parts, labor, and VAT unless stated otherwise
4.3 Parts and Materials
- We use genuine, OEM, or high-quality aftermarket parts
- Customers may supply their own parts (fitting fees apply)
- We are not responsible for customer-supplied parts that fail or cause damage
4.4 Liability
- We carry full public and products liability insurance
- Vehicles left on our premises are covered by our insurance
- We are not liable for pre-existing faults not identified during inspection
- Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided
5. Consumer Rights

5.2 Right to Cancel (Distance Selling)
If you purchase a vehicle without viewing it in person (online), you may have a 14-day cooling-off period. However, this does not apply if:
- You collected the vehicle in person after viewing
- The vehicle was custom ordered or modified to your specifications

7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
